Brandon is from central & northern Texas, and joined the Oak Hills Team in June 2019. He brings 13 years of experience from a wide variety of contexts and cultures - most recently serving as a Youth/Associate Pastor in Nyon, Switzerland. He is passionate about students, families, and the local church. Brandon is a graduate of Howard Payne University (TX) with a B.A. in Family Ministry and Logsdon Seminary (TX) with an M.A. in Family Ministry. Brian grew up in Dickinson, ND; graduated from MSU Moorhead, and spent 28 years with Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru). Brian and his wife, Julie, began serving with Cru at USD. They subsequently spent a couple of years in Latvia and then helped start Cru groups on multiple South Dakota campuses, including SDSU. Brian’s passions for ministry include exploring creative ways to build bridges toward those that need Jesus, whether they be in our neighborhoods or on the other side of the world. He has been a member of Oak Hills for over 20 years and has served in several capacities and is an exiting addition to the team! Leanne joined the Oak Hills staff in the summer of 2013 and serves as the Graphic Artist & Administrative Assistant. She grew up in LeMars, Iowa and graduated from Dordt College with a BA in Graphic Design. She has worked in a variety of industries, but finds that her true passion is assisting those in ministry, a passion that came about after serving for 4 years in YWAM Vancouver, British Columbia. As the Kids Ministry Coordinator, Sara oversees Sunday morning programming, Wednesday night activities, Vacation Bible School, and various special events throughout the year. She loves to teach kids about the truths and promises in the bible and how God sent Jesus to be our greatest hope! Sara grew up in South Dakota and North Dakota but has lived in Sioux Falls for 13 years. She graduated from Minnesota State University in Moorhead, MN with an Elementary Education Degree and attended Grace University in Nebraska for Biblical Studies. Sara and her husband Josh have three boys, Nathan, Owen, and Rion. Sara served as a volunteer for Kids Ministry for 8 years before becoming part of the Kids Ministry team in 2020. Email Sara
