We exist as a Student Ministry to not only try and reach the world for Jesus, but to equip our students to daily walk with Jesus, to serve with Jesus, and engage culture with Jesus. We will provide Middle School students with answers about their faith and provide them with affirmation that believing in Jesus Christ is trustworthy and accurate.

Furthermore, in Student Ministries we love to have FUN! Along with our annual trip to Minneapolis (where we visit the Mall of America and attend a Twins baseball game) and summer camp at Village Creek, we will play crazy games and enjoy a lot of fun activities such as “Thunder Road”, ice blocking and playing broomball at the Scheels IcePlex. However, the main goal in Student Ministries is to grow in Christ. Therefore, our philosophy is to have a healthy balance between seriousness and fun.

Sunday School
We believe Sunday school to be a vital part of the programming in Student Ministries as it helps the students understand that they are a part of a community—and they are a part of a church, and it matters that they are connected to someone.  Our Sunday School time provides our students with a safe environment to deepen their relationship with the Lord and each other. We understand that the Bible can be an intimidating book and part of what we want to provide on Sunday mornings is an opportunity for students to interact with the Word of God together, being built up in Christ Jesus through an open and honest dialogue. We meet in the youth lounge @ 9:30am and on the first week of every month we serve a huge breakfast and play games. We would love to see you there!

Wednesday Night
Wednesday nights serve as our rally point every week. We have middle school students in many different schools all over the city and Wednesday nights are our time to come together for snacks, fellowship, fun, worship & preaching. Arguably, the most valuable time during our Wednesday nights will take place when we split into different age and gender specific life groups led by adults who are a part of our Youth Staff Team. Life groups are the core of what we do on Wednesday night because they not only help individual students take steps toward Jesus, but they foster a healthy environment for students to deeply examine truth, discuss hard topics/issues and develop a community of same gender/age believers. Life groups also provide students with a role model(s) and soundboard to life as this time creates space for students to feel connected, be known and heard. Middle School meets from 6:30-7:45pm and we would love to have you here!
